The Hutton tradition of quality is built on foundations laid almost 200 years ago.The business was established in the early 19th Century by brothers Thomas and James Hutton, skilled carpenters and joiners, at premises in Birch.Their craftsmanship was passed down through the generations from father to son, first to Thomas’ son John and then to his son Frederick, who took over the business in 1894. One of the earliest surviving company documents is the bill of sale recording his purchase of the firm for £50!
The tradition of first-class carpentry skills, begun by the Hutton brothers so many years ago, is proudly continued with the purpose-built joinery facility, which remains an important element of the Birch operation.
Combining the values of nearly 200 year’s experience and the technology and resources of the 21 century, Hutton builds, rebuilds, fits out and refurbishes buildings for all sectors of business and industry.
