We’re proud to be part of the 5% Club, a dynamic movement of employers committed to earn and learn as part of building and developing the construction industry’s workforce, providing future talent for the industry, and addressing the skill shortage.

We are proud to say that our current employees who joined our undergraduate trainee programme remain with Hutton over a decade later!

As a member we pledge to have 5% of our workforce in earn and learn positions, either through apprenticeships, sponsorships, or graduate training programmes.

We are:

Committed to helping the country’s growth agenda and acknowledge the importance of developing our people as both a business and social imperative
Playing our part in addressing youth unemployment and skills shortage
Pledging to work toward having a minimum 5% of our UK workforce enrolled on formalised apprentice, sponsored student and/or graduate development schemes within five years
Measuring and reporting on our progress annually
Committed to encouraging other businesses to participate in the campaign.
